Satnam Singh Sandhu is a Chancellor of Chandigarh University and a nominated Member of Parliament,[1][2] Rajya Sabha.[3][4][5]

Sandhu founded the Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) at Landran in Mohali in 2001 and later in 2012 he founded Chandigarh University. Sandhu is also actively involved in community services in health and wellness sectors and runs two NGOs, the Indian Minorities Foundation and the New India Development Foundation.[6]
